I was good at writing and editing until I learned another language so that I have two sets of grammar rules mixed in my head! I am really good at telling other people what to do (just ask my brothers or my husband)!

| Just wanted to send a shout out to all my xanga buddies! I really have been reading (still get the updates by email!), I just haven't had time to comment much.
Don't know how many of you have been checking out our other blog (japiercefamily.blogspot.com) so I will give you a quick update.
We're moving! Jeremy has decided to apply to the University of Houston at Clear Lake for the Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy. He wants to be a counselor! He will be so great at that. So we are moving back to Texas. Not exactly the part we wanted to be in, but the good news is that we will be close to Jeremy's parents. We haven't lived close to them since we came to college. Jeremy is so excited about getting to go fishing with his dad alot.
Pray for us as we have a very short time to take care of a lot of details. We are going to try to move down the last week in May...only a month and a half away!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, it's 9:00, bedtime. One last thing, in case she's reading  My youngest brother's new girlfriend is sweet and cute, I like her!

| I just got finished saving all my xanga articles, with comments, to my computer. It was a nice stroll down memory lane. I really miss how much we all used to communicate on xanga. Looking at the comments, it was easy to see when myspace took over. Don't get me wrong, I like myspace. I have fun putting up slide shows and messing with my background. I love giving and getting animated comments. But there is one big think missing from myspace.
On xanga, we talked about our lives. We encouraged each other through our hard times and rejoiced in each other's successes. I miss how close we all were. We don't have that on myspace. Pictures are nice, but words are the insight into our thoughts. Yeah, myspace has a blog option, but how many of us use it?
I switched my blogging to blogspot because it didn't require people to have an account in order to comment. But not many people have checked it out.
In looking through the xanga comments, it is obvious that most of the commenting took place during the summer, when we all had a little more time. That is understandable. All I'm asking is if any of the rest of you miss what we had before, because I sure do.

| Well, lots of changes have been going on in our world (what's new??). I kind of tired of change and ready to have some normalcy, but I think we are getting to that. We now have an apartment, a home of our own (atleast for the next 6 months). It has been fun and frustrating to try and put a home together. We have the amount of STUFF people who have been married five years and traveled around the world should have, but we don't have the furniture to put it in/on etc. Slowly, slowly we are working out the kinks. I am on my last week of Christmas break before I go back to teaching and I have big plans to get tons done...so why am I sitting in front of the computer??
